Any number of graphic designs or patterns can be permanently carved into the surface of the concrete with the use of diamond blades, concrete engraving tools, and stencils.

A decorative saw cut, usually between 1/16 and 1/4 of an inch deep, can be used to score the look of tiles or brick, create a boarder or any number of geometric designs. Hundreds of stencils are available to choose from for use with concrete engraving tools.
